About
Girls Who Code Pathways is a free, virtual coding program from Girls Who Code for high school girls and non-binary students. Girls Who Code describes Pathways as a year-round program. Pathways is self-paced and aimed at beginner to intermediate coders. Students choose a curriculum track in game design, data science, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, or web development. Each course gives students 6 to 7 weeks to finish their projects on their own schedule. The program runs 100% online. Participants join a virtual community on Discord. Optional extras include events with corporate partners, career panels, and workshops led by advisors on emerging technologies. Students in some cities can also attend in-person Industry Immersion Days. There is no cost to participate.
Requirements
Open to girls and non-binary students in 9th through 12th grade, including rising 9th graders, graduating seniors, and alumni of Girls Who Code Summer Programs. Girls Who Code accepts applications from students around the world. Students apply online through the Girls Who Code website.
