High School Internship (Venture Analyst)

The 1435 Capital Venture Analyst Internship is a paid summer internship at a venture capital firm in Princeton, New Jersey, for high school students. The Summer 2027 program runs for 10 weeks, full time, and is fully in person at the firm's Skillman (Princeton) office in the Montgomery Innovation Hub. Housing and transportation are not provided. Venture Analysts work with the investment team on startup and market research, due diligence, portfolio tracking, deal sourcing, and firm events. Interns may also get to take part in the Homeroom Fund, a venture fund run by high school students and overseen by 1435 Capital. The firm typically accepts about four interns each summer.

Open to rising high school juniors, rising seniors, and rising college freshmen who are at least 16 years old (generally ages 16 to 18). Applicants must live in the US and be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship; overseas applicants are not considered. Interns must be able to commute to the Princeton (Skillman), NJ office. Strong communication and analytical skills and Google Workspace proficiency are expected.
