Health and Medical Internships

Designed for students interested in health and medical careers, students will intern a minimum of 20 hours per week, Mondays through Thursdays, for six weeks, in UCSF labs, offices and libraries. Students will also participate in weekly Work Based Learning seminars on Fridays.

Internships are intended for sophomores and juniors to extend their learning outside of the classroom. Priority will go to 11th grade students (rising seniors) who have not previously interned with SFUSD.
