About
The Palantir Meritocracy Fellowship is a paid, full-time fall program at Palantir Technologies for graduating high school seniors and recent high school graduates who are not enrolled in college. Palantir, which builds software for data-driven decisions and operations, says it created the fellowship to find talented people based on merit and academic excellence, and that fellows who excel can receive offers to join the company full time. The fellowship opens with a five-week curriculum in which fellows read major works, discuss questions about Western civilization, America and Palantir's mission, visit institutions, and build projects together. Fellows then join Palantir's forward-deployed engineering or internal software teams. Palantir says fellows are treated like its other software engineers rather than given internship projects, working with customers, building on real data and shipping software. The current posting is for fall 2027, August through December, on site in New York City. Palantir estimates pay at $5,400 per month.
Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma by the start date, cannot be enrolled at an accredited U.S. university or already hold an undergraduate degree, and must spend the full fall at Palantir without taking university classes at the same time. Palantir lists qualities it values, including agency, maturity, comfort with open-ended problems, strong communication and some experience with programming or statistical tools such as Python, R, Matlab or SQL. Selected applicants are invited to interview. The posting does not list an application deadline.
