About

The Emma Bowen Foundation Fellows Program (EBF Fellows) places high school seniors and college students in paid internships with partner companies, aimed at students who want careers in media, entertainment, technology, or business. Fellows work 35 to 40 hours a week for at least eight consecutive weeks. The foundation describes the program as offering paid internships, need-based scholarships, and professional development. Each year the program hosts a class of roughly 150 new and returning Fellows.

Requirements

Open to high school seniors and undergraduates graduating in Spring 2027 or later. Applicants must be accepted to or enrolled in a four-year U.S. college, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0, be at least 18 years old before their internship begins, and be available 35-40 hours per week for 8+ consecutive weeks. To become a Fellow, a student must be chosen and hired by one of the foundation's partner companies. Students apply through an online application on the foundation's website, which includes a resume and video interview. For the 2027 cycle, applications are accepted from September through April and are reviewed on a rolling basis as partners request candidates. Placements for 2027 will be decided by May 15, 2027, so applying early is a good idea.
