About

The Teen Art Connect (TAC) Internship at The Contemporary Jewish Museum in San Francisco is on hiatus. The museum says the program paused after the 2025 TAC Internship ended because of the museum's temporary closure. When it ran, TAC was a year-round paid internship for high school students from a range of backgrounds. Interns learned about the museum's exhibitions and architecture and explored careers in the arts. They greeted visitors, led architecture and exhibition tours, and ran activities at public programs and events. The schedule began with a weekday training intensive in June from 10am to 4pm. In July and August, interns attended two Sunday afternoon trainings per month. From August through May, they kept the two monthly Sunday trainings and worked two to six hours per week. Interns earned minimum wage for all training and work hours. Benefits included a free museum membership and free admission to films, performances, and artist talks. The museum is located at 736 Mission Street in San Francisco.

Requirements

Open to high school students entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade in the fall. Applicants should be interested in areas such as art, culture, museums, architecture, Judaism, or education, and able to check email or text messages daily. Interns commit to a June weekday training intensive, two Sunday afternoon trainings per month from July onward, and 2-6 hours of work per week from August through May. No application for a future cycle has been announced.
