WBA Experiential Learning Opportunity

The WBA Experiential Learning Opportunity is an internship program run by World Baseball Academy (WBA), a youth baseball nonprofit in Fort Wayne, Indiana, open to high school and college students. WBA works with area universities as well as Fort Wayne-area public school districts and private high schools to place interns. Interns help with facility and tournament management, marketing, graphic design, and mentoring young players in baseball instruction and the On Deck program. Each role is shaped around the student's interests, skills, and career goals. The work takes place in person at WBA's ASH Centre sports facility. Positions are unpaid. Internships are offered both during the school year and in the summer. The experience includes regular meetings with staff, leadership time with the CEO, project-based tasks, a mid-term review, and an exit interview.

Open to high school and college students. To apply, students email WBA's internship contact to ask about next steps, then submit a resume and complete an interview that includes a tour of the campus. No application deadline is posted, so interested students should reach out directly to ask about current openings.
