Research areas for summer 2026 were biology (cellular and microbiology), cancer biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, electrical and computer engineering, mechanical engineering (cancer bioimaging) and physics. Participants pay for travel to and from the program, personal expenses and medical costs.

Requirements

Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and at least 17 years old by the program start date, with no exceptions. Students attend either the summer before senior year or the summer right after graduating. There is a $25 application fee.
