High School Internship

The Rancho Los Cerritos High School Internship is a museum internship at Rancho Los Cerritos Historic Site (RLC) for high school students who want hands-on experience in a museum setting. RLC says it offers both paid and unpaid internship positions to interested students. As of fall 2026, the site lists no open paid internships. High school and college students can still ask about an internship or a service project for class credit. Because availability is handled case by case, there are no set program dates on the official page. RLC also welcomes volunteers of all ages, which gives students another way to get involved with the historic site if no internship is open.

Open to high school (and college) students seeking an internship or service project for class credit. There is no posted application form or deadline; to apply, email the Rancho's general inbox at Rancho@RanchoLosCerritos.org and ask whether a class-credit spot is available. Students who need credit for a school requirement should contact RLC well before the hours are due. Paid internships are listed only when positions are open.
