About

The Get Girls Going Teen Entrepreneur program (GGG Teen Entrepreneur) is a summer business incubator in Boston for Black and Brown high school girls who want to start a business or social venture. Get Girls Going is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based on Dorchester Avenue in Boston, Massachusetts. The program runs for six weeks in the summer. Students are chosen by the organization's Entrepreneurship and Innovation Education team. During the incubator, teens learn from staff, working professionals, and entrepreneurs how to build a business from the ground up. Topics include defining a problem, understanding customers, revenue, competitive analysis, costs, and building a prototype. College-age mentors are paired with small groups of participants. The summer ends with a Pitch Night where teens present their ventures to a judging panel; the 2024 Pitch Night was held on August 15, 2024, and top pitches won cash awards.

The application is open to Black or Brown teen girls in high school who want to make a difference in their communities, are interested in entrepreneurship, and enjoy solving problems and working with others.
