About

Georgetown Pre-College Online Program College Credit Courses are online, college-level classes from Georgetown University for high school students who want to earn real college credit. Each course is designed and taught by Georgetown faculty through pre-recorded video lessons, with a teaching assistant available for feedback and questions. The courses are fully asynchronous, so there are no live sessions or set log-in times. A session lasts 6, 8, or 12 weeks and takes about 130 hours of work in total. Students who finish a course earn 3 Georgetown credits and a university transcript. Subjects include artificial intelligence, biology, business of sports, creative writing, cybersecurity, international relations, law, marketing, and psychology, plus research projects in finance and medicine. Sessions run throughout the year, and the 2026-2027 calendar lists start dates in fall 2026 and spring 2027. Tuition is $3,995 per course, and need-based scholarships are offered.

Requirements

Students must be at least 13 and enrolled in high school, or within one year of graduating. The short online application asks for basic information and a brief personal statement in English, with no transcripts or recommendation letters needed. Applicants usually hear back within a week. Each session has its own enrollment deadline, such as October 10, 2026 for the session starting October 11, 2026.
