About

The College of Saint Mary Summer Academy (CSM Summer Academy) is a week-long residential college experience for young women who are rising high school juniors and seniors. It takes place on the College of Saint Mary campus in Omaha, Nebraska. Participants live in the residence halls for the week and get a taste of everyday college life. The program mixes hands-on learning, campus activities, and community-building with other students. Students explore their academic interests and learn more about how the college search process works. Group activities and discussions are designed to help participants build leadership skills and confidence. The setting is described as women-centered and supportive. The 2026 academy ran June 21 to 26 and was limited to 30 participants. In 2026, the registration fee was $25 for the full week, and that fee covered meals, activities, and housing. Each participant also earns a $500 scholarship to College of Saint Mary.

Requirements

Open to young women who will be high school juniors or seniors in the fall after the program. The academy is residential, so participants must stay in the campus residence halls for the week.
