Discovery Squad

Discovery Squad at Children's Museum Houston is a youth leadership and volunteer program for teens ages 14 to 17. Members help the museum run its exhibits, programs, and special activities. Along the way, teens practice leadership and teamwork. Each member is expected to give at least 75 volunteer hours. Teens can complete those hours during the summer or spread them across the school year. The program is a volunteer role, not a paid position. It takes place in person at the museum in Houston, Texas.

Open to teens ages 14-17. The museum says applications for the 2027-2028 program year will open in April 2027. Teens who are interested should check the museum's Get Involved page in spring 2027 for the new application.
