About

The Camp Galileo Summer Operations Intern role is a seasonal, part-time summer job at Galileo day camps, open to teens who are at least 16. Interns help camp run smoothly by greeting campers and families, supervising kids with a focus on safety and fun, leading activities, and supporting a positive camp atmosphere. Camp Galileo runs STEAM-focused day camps built around hands-on projects and play. Galileo runs camps in Northern California, Southern California, Colorado, Chicagoland, and Seattle. Because these are day camps, staff housing is not provided.

Requirements

Applicants must turn 16 by May 1 of the year camp starts, and some states also require a work permit. Applicants need existing US work authorization, since Galileo does not sponsor visas. The summer staff hiring process starts with an online application, followed by a one-on-one virtual interview, and then an offer if it is a good match. Students interested in the summer 2027 season can sign up on Galileo's careers site for email updates on when recruiting begins.
