About
The Bloomberg Arts Internship (BAI) in Philadelphia is a paid arts and culture internship for rising high school seniors in Philadelphia. The Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance runs it locally, and similar Bloomberg Arts Internship programs operate in six other cities. Interns are placed at Philadelphia arts and culture organizations, where they do hands-on work. They also take part in professional development, cultural immersion, and college and career readiness activities. The program is built around four areas: preparing for life after high school, self-advocacy, connecting personal strengths to long-term goals, and public speaking. The 2026 summer program lasted eight weeks, from June 19 to August 14, 2026. Interns worked up to 35 hours per week. Pay for summer 2026 was $20 or more per hour, and interns also received help with transportation and meals. After the summer, some interns are invited to stay on for a school year program. In 2026-2027 this runs from mid-September through May for up to 10 hours per week.
Requirements
