About
The TECH360 Summer Bootcamp is a free, hybrid introduction to artificial intelligence run by the nonprofit America On Tech (AOT) for rising high school juniors and seniors in New York City, Los Angeles, Miami and Atlanta. The 2026 curriculum, called TECH360: Intro to AI, covers where AI came from, how generative and predictive models are built, the data science and machine learning ideas behind them, and how to use AI tools effectively and ethically. Students work in teams on a final project, pitching an AI-powered tool to mock clients, and top teams may present at AOT's Future Innovators Night. The bootcamp meets Monday through Thursday from 11 AM to 3 PM. Most sessions are online, with two required in-person sessions in the student's city. In 2026, each city offered two cycles of about three weeks, running between mid-June and mid-August, and students attended one. The program costs nothing, and students who finish it earn a $500 stipend.
Requirements
Applicants must be rising high school juniors or seniors who live in and attend high school in New York City (all boroughs), Los Angeles County, Miami-Dade or Broward County, or Atlanta (Fulton or DeKalb counties). Graduating seniors and past AOT participants cannot apply. No prior coding or AI experience is needed. Students must commit to attending every session and need a computer with audio, video and reliable internet. AOT gives priority to students from schools that meet its Economic Needs Index, students with financial need or limited access to career or tech education, and first-generation college students. Students can submit an interest form for next summer.
