About
The Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science in Miami, Florida offers a variety of volunteer positions for teens aged 16 and older. Volunteer positions range from assisting instructors during educational camps to removing and monitoring invasive species at conservation sites. Requirements
To be considered for the internship program at Frost Science, applicants must be age 16 or older and be able to commit to at least 10 weeks of full-time work or 20 weeks of part-time work. They must also have a strong interest in science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) or related fields. Applicants must provide a resume, a cover letter explaining their interest in the internship and what they hope to gain from the experience, and at least one letter of recommendation from a teacher or employer. They will also need to complete an application and potentially participate in an interview. The internship program is unpaid, but may offer academic credit or be eligible for community service hours.
